Cordon, Episode 2

I’m not likely to do a post about every episode. But I wanted to repeat the point I made in the prior comparison post:

The government — no government — would move this quickly without having the damn Ace up their sleeve.

Because that’s now a point made in the second episode itself:






And while the American adaptation went nuclear in the first episode with a ridiculous electrified fence — preventing any new drama in that aspect — in the original things are ramped up in a way that’s downright ominous:



Yeah, the cordon becomes a surrounding wall that’s four shipping containers high!
