Intel’s Changing Future: Smartphone SoCs Broxton & SoFIA Officially Cancelled
This is no surprise.
After spending a ton of money in China to woo undeserving tablet makers, Intel finds out it was all wasted money.
And it’s not just that those tablet makers are not world-class (they are ridiculed and generally avoided inside China!), it’s that the entire tablet market is sinking.
Best Buy has again dramatically shrunk its tablet displays, reflecting the lack of consumer interest and sales.
It seems the only tablet success has been from Amazon, with its low-priced craptabs that shred eyes.
