Alcatel Tries To Stay Relevant In VR

This is really sad. They should have had the Idol 4s with its VR headset out months ago.

Now they issue a lame press release to try to distract people from the ZTE Axon 7 announcement: Alcatel to Support Google’s Daydream Platform With Its Upcoming Flagship Smartphones

Here’s the bit that shows Alcatel can be ignored:

Daydream-ready smartphones will run on Android N (previewed to developers in March). Alcatel will launch its devices in the first half of 2017.

Boldfaced emphasis added by me.

With Internet Time, this company could be dead by then.
