The tablet that was rumored back in January has finally arrived in the U.S. — exclusive to Verizon.
Probably because no one else would carry it!
Asus was thoroughly incompetent with its first set of iPad Mini clones. The “Pro/Plus” model — that used a stylus — never got to Best Buy. After a few weeks on the shelves there, Best Buy even dropped the first basic non-stylus model.
The only appealing thing here is the US$250 price. We’re still waiting for the Snapdragon 650 version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 to arrive in the U.S. — and that will probably cost US$399.
I’m not sure if I even need to do a Google Books PDF test for this. First, Verizon stores give me the creeps. Second, tablets generally now use CPUs and GPUs that do such PDFs pretty well.
