Things in real life caused a delay in seeing this. By the time I was ready, I learned the political conventions forced the show to move to Sunday nights. So I decided to wait until I could see both episode four and five together.
I repeat: This is the best damned thing on TV and you shouldn’t be missing it!
Things are getting crazier out there in Election Land. And I don’t mean just Trump. I mean on all sides.
So this show is a tonic. It brilliantly captures just how crazy things have become. There are scenes in this I’d love to rave about, but spoilers. I’m certain people have yet to catch on to this show and I don’t want to ruin their joy of discovery.
And really, if you can’t laugh out loud during this show, it’s likely you’ve fallen too deep into the political pit.
Have some cat:
Don’t look at me like that! Cat good.
This is all pitch-perfect satire …
… with the kind of surprises I wish straight drama had more of!
If you find yourself nodding your head when he speaks …
… and she speaks ….
… you are in trouble. You are in too damned deep.
And you need to see this show to rescue yourself!
You can be like that, but …
… this series is the intervention you need.
Come on. Even as someone who favored Sanders …
… I laughed at that!
And dig this:
An ancient AT&T wooden phone booth!
Don’t wind up on TV like these two:
Have some dignity!
You heard me. Now go catch up with this series!
