Be careful what you create. It will come back to haunt you.
The haunting here is this pain in the ass:
That irritating dipshit with his stupid plant.
I understand why.
1) They needed someone to rescue in the episode.
2) He was the only character in the prior cast who fit the role! Creating a new character and getting us to care would have taken too much time. So that guy — who I think most viewers actually wish dead! — was a shortcut.
They should have never created him to begin with! He’s been a pox in this series.
See? Be careful what you create. It will come back to haunt you.
Aside from him being the major irritation of the episode, there was Parker with an emotional attachment to a crowbar!
At least Lady Penelope’s dog wasn’t in this one.
It was surprising to see Thunderbird 3 redesigned with a new mid-section …
… and the entire launch sequence re-rendered for it:
Is it to be a permanent part of Thunderbird 3?
The explosion using a miniature was surprising. Not the quality of Derek Meddings (nothing is, anywhere, anymore), but still nice.
Despite the appearance of Plant Dipshit, it was as good as part one. And the Fosters did some really nice work — which was again buried under sound effects.
