It certainly sounds a lot like the iFive Mini 4s under a different brand.
It’s called the RePad 8.
Look at the back. The same glass back as the iFive Mini 4s.
The other connection is that their previous tablet was called the RecPad (notice the “c”) and was clearly the 9.7 iFive tablet, as seen in this video:

US$170 for the RePad 8 is ridiculously overpriced. I understand margins but I also understand what it costs in China to build. A premium price for this would be US$149. It actually is worth no more than US$99 to US$129, tops.
