The Perils Of Cheap eSkateboards

Funny how the name Swagtron constantly pops up.

The Swagboard is a single-wheel-drive eSkateboard. After a month of use, a YouTube video reveals this:

That’s a deathtrap!

What’s even screwier is that the wheels aren’t the same diameter! The drive wheel is larger than the other three, so it doesn’t travel in a straight line.

And after a month — here it comes, thank you cheap-ass Chinese batteries — it died.

Apparently, it is possible to do a good cheap eSkateboard:

After three months, it’s still rolling. And the single-wheel-drive hasn’t fallen apart.

Why can’t Swagtron manage that?

It seems it’s been discontinued, however, and is no longer available at Amazon.
