Doug Hnut is back with another exciting riding video.
He also owns a Xiaomi M365 electric scooter, so I was very interested to see how the Meepo would do.
What?
Skip? Never! Don’t miss the excitement of him zooming by a dog walker:
And bombing out on some gravel:
And this classic Oops:
Then Comes The Beeping:
The Beeping! The next movie by M. Night Shyamalan.
He decides on the halfway point then:
6 kilometers = 3.7 miles.
In the final stretch of heading back. he must suffer the humiliation of being passed by bicycles:
And then it’s the end:
Final result (via an app called Strava):
12.7 kilometers = 7.89 miles.
And here’s what’s left of the battery:
Wait. What? When did the Meepo Board add that?
It didn’t. Doug has been busy:
Battery thermal reading:
He believes the batteries aren’t up to the task of delivering as many electrons as the motors want. Greedy motors! But this does make me wonder if the new Sanyo batteries offered as an option with the new Meepo Penny Single will act differently.
And he didn’t film a prior range test, done in slow mode:
19.6 kilometers = 12.1 miles.
I can’t tell if any of this matches the Xiaomi M365. The one in slow mode might have for range, but the M365 might have delivered more overall speed for that distance.
Even if the M365 was overall more powerful, let’s not forget the weight factor. Carrying a Meepo Board is a hell of a lot more convenient than dragging behind the Xiaomi M365!
Well done on another great video, Doug!
