Something is up with the guy in Taiwan who converts ELOS kick skateboards into electric ones.
It seems he has a new hub motor. And it increases top speed from 24kmh (14mph) to 30kmh (18mph). That might not seem like a lot but it’s quite significant for a single hub motor on such a small deck.
I’ve tried NewOCR on these screensnaps but these and past results have been abysmal through Google and Bing translation. Anyone out there who can make sense of them?
This is the new ELOS he modified:
And I’m not quite sure what’s going on here, but this is the enclosure for the battery and ESC:
There was also this surprise in his latest video:
An ELOS with green wheels (they are usually black), no ELOS branding, and a strange deck color!
I hope his future videos will contain more information about this latest electric ELOS development.
