Two interesting bits from him:
I built it as a rear-wheel drive with the pointy end in the front
But then I rode it and it rides much better in reverse, with the pointy end in the back
That’s not the first time I’ve head of a hub motor that actually goes better in reverse!
And:
The axles are 213mm [8.38583″] long. The trucks the elos came with are what you call “seven inch trucks” but these are smaller than that. I could not fit the elos in my backpack bacause the wheels were too wide. This electrified one fits in my REGULAR, NORMAL small backpack. No special backpack required…
