I took this picture today [2/19/18]. The view is from a building owned by one of Puerto Rico’s largest banks. These houses are right in the heart of what’s called The Golden Mile, Puerto Rico’s financial district.
A house without a roof. Another one with tarps.
UBS to the left, our flamboyant coliseum to the right.
It’s so frustrating.
I’m still channeling help to people through my parents since I’m working for now. They’ve been delivering dog food and supplies to Santuario Lázaro and managed to make a huge trip to Sister María Blanca in Bayamón.
I have no idea for how much longer I’ll be able to keep this up but hopefully, it’ll last a little longer. There are still people in need.
