Real-life complications bled into and overtook the weekend. In-between the chaos, I was able to play the soundtrack to The Greatest Showman like a billion times (OK, maybe more than ten?).
Now you can too:
I was also able to get in some reading: Life at the Bottom: The Worldview that Makes the Underclass by Theodore Dalrymple. This is one of the most depressing books I’ve ever read in my life. The contrast between the English captured in The People and the Abyss and in this book is like two different species of human. The Marxist Fifth Column over in England gives us a glimpse of America’s future if we don’t develop the backbone to stop it. They have wrecked an entire stratum of people. And that was their aim. I recommend this book very, very highly.
