Well, there I was watching this …

Hurray for the Riff Raff – “Pa’lante” (Live at Pregones Theater)

… and suddenly my brain went all, Wait. What? Am I imagining things?

That bass player … she looks familiar. Could it be?

So I looked up Hurray for the Riff Raff at Wikipedia and BAM!

Caitlin was in a band I liked and did a bunch of posts about back in 2007(!), Girls Don’t Cry.

Here are some photos when she was but a yoot:

(I was publishing photos small in those days because phones were weak. The iPhone was 1.0 and bandwidth was thin.)

Strangely, Caitlin’s photos are still up on MySpace.

I never kept in touch with the Girls. Plus, my email addresses changed over the years (due to forgetting passwords!), so I don’t even know if there are dead emails I never knew about.
