Everyone is comparing it to a full-sized iPad.
Nah.
To me, it goes up against the iPad Mini, which is also US$399.
And that Mini is sometimes just US$299 at Best Buy.
I could do more with the Mini. And there’s no question the Mini could display Google Books PDFs. In fact, over the weekend I stopped in at an Apple Store and tested the Mini with Psychotronic, Cinemagic, and Herbie PDFs too. It handled them well.
So, for now at least, Next!
