Ronnie Sarmiento reports the BoardUp folding skateboard paired with the Mellow Drive weighs 16.8 pounds.

The Mellow Drive battery has a range of about 5-7 miles.

Previously: New Models Of Boosted Board

The Mini X has up to 14 mile range. 20mph top speed. Dual belt motors. Extended battery. The weight is a disappointing 16.8lbs. The battery has a recharge time of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Damn.

Mellow Drive = US$2,500 (actually more, for second battery and fast charger and maybe 90mm wheels)

Boosted Mini X = US$999.
