This is bad.
Xiaomi has had videos where they brag about their customer service. It seems you have to be Chinese and inside of China to enjoy that. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of Xiaomi not honoring their eScooter warranty when it comes to non-China residents.
And, Xiaomi, this wasn’t an accident. This was a catastrophic failure of your product!
Don’t enter the American market and act like this. You’ll be fending off a ton of lawsuits. Justifiably so.
