The Value Of Google Books

One of the most popular posts I’ve published isn’t even written by me.

It’s from 1922 and I reprinted it from The American Magazine.

Today it’s enjoying a bunch of hits because someone posted the link to Reddit.

1922: Why I Quit Being So Accommodating

This gives me an opportunity to remind people of another blog I have. It’s in suspended animation but one I intend to resume when I have a damn device that makes reading Google Books PDFs an enjoyable experience: iPeople. Lots of great stories of people who overcame extraordinary odds. Feeling down in the dumps? Go read it! (This post has stuck in my mind for years: 1922: Grocer David Pender)
