I’m just putting this here because I suspect it is so.
There are clues out there. But if you think I’ll let China know what they are, forget it. They’d quickly ramp up an op to obfuscate it.
What the hell is going on in Hong Kong?
Same-day update: We can get to Hong Kong sites. But people inside Hong Kong I believe are either being blocked from the entire Internet or from a list of sites drawn up in Beijing. And from what I’m seeing, this could have been going on for twelve or more hours. Yet only I’m noticing it?! Something is very screwy here.
Second same-day update: Hong Kong seems to be back. I don’t know what was going on.
Next-day update: This could be another explanation: Surveillance-savvy Hong Kong protesters go digitally dark. Good luck, Hong Kong.
