New YouTube Behavior: Thumbnail Previews

It might not have rolled out to everyone or I’m the last to get it. Either way is how it usually works.

When I my pointer is over a YouTube thumbnail at the desktop website now, I get a preview of the video. They’re no longer static.

Just like with some pr0n sites. Or so I am told. Ahem and harrumph.

Same-day update: I’m finding this works only on the home page. I don’t get preview anims in my Subscriptions tab. But it is working in Search results.

Monday October 21, 2019 update: I’m now getting the preview anims in my Subscriptions page too.
