Blog Notes: Better YouTube Clips

This morning I tried to trim a YouTube clip at EZGIF.com, an online service I’ve used in the past.

Well, the cut wouldn’t take.

Enough of that!

Some Googling turned up a free video editor called Shotcut.

After a few minutes of me being exceedingly dense, I finally figured out how to trim a video clip.

The result of that is an improvement that’s immediately evident.

Before Shotcut:

Zig Ziglar: The Problem is YOU

Using Shotcut:

Zig Ziglar: YOU Are The Problem

I can finally trim with the necessary precision!

I should have done this ages ago.

Why didn’t I?

You’re an idiot!
